Spiritual Transformation

I believe that in the heart of every person is a desire to truly know God in a personal way.  And, although we often try to fill that longing with other things - money, material things, status, relationships, appearance - there is nothing that will satisfy that desire outside of a relationship with Jesus.  This is the kind of relationship that leaves you with peace and joy and passion and purpose.  It leaves you with a great contentment, yet drives you to do all you can do to make a difference for others.

The fitness, bodybuilding, and sports training communities have a lot in common - discipline, sacrifice, tenacity, intensity, devotion, knowledge, commitment, and often times - an intense focus on self.  Most of these qualities can be great assets if they are applied to the right endeavor.  However, when the goal is purely self improvement or vanity or glory in competition or on the athletic field, these qualities are misdirected.

Our goal is to demonstrate that God, the creator of our amazing bodies, really does care about our health.  He gave us all the instructions we need to have optimal health - those instructions are found in the Bible.

But our greater goal is to demonstrate that God really does care about you.  He wants you to know Him and love Him and He wants to show His love for you.  He wants to use your gifts and talents for great good - and He wants to give you a great life - where relationships are strong, forgiveness is extended, friends are reconciled, and peace and joy are fully experienced.

This type of life is available to you through a relationship with Jesus Christ.  He died for the forgiveness of your sins so that you, when you place your faith in Him, can be reconciled to God and be part of His family.  His sacrifice has paid the price required for your sin.  And, when you put your faith in Jesus and begin to talk with Him and read about Him, He gives you great freedom!  Now you can choose His ways which are right and pure and live the life that you had always imagined!
