Before any training session or competition begins, it is essential that you perform a proper warm-up to prepare your body for the demands of sport and decrease your chance of injury. Our warm-up will prepare you for training by increasing blood flow, raising your core muscle temperature, stimulating the central nervous system, and improving range of motion and flexibility.
The old-school protocol of static stretching before training has now been shown to cool the athlete down and increase the potential for injury. It is, however, an essential technique immediately following training sessions.
